2022 Juniper Three Fields Cabernet Sauvignon
Deep crimson in colour, with purple hues. The bouquet is deeply scented & reminiscent of mulberry blackberry, with layers of graphite & baking spices. A supple & joyous palate, red berry & plum cross paths with cedar, dried rosemary & a subtle salted licorice character. This medium bodied wine shows classically styled and finely woven Cabernet tannin & great length.
Region
Margaret River
Varieties
100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Critic Reviews
95 Points Special Value - Halliday Wine Companion 2025
‘An elegant, refined and lovely wine. Brimming with all the good regional cabernet flavours of mulberries and cassis, spiced boysenberries, a dusting of cocoa and just the right amount of leafy/herbal freshness. Sure, there’s cedary oak in the mix (the wine’s aged 14 months in French barriques, 30% new), but the fruit has sucked it up. Fuller bodied, the tannins are textural, almost grainy and ripe, and the finish lingers. Impressive. Drink by 2039’ Jane Faulkner
Cellaring Potential
Enjoy now or cellar with confidence for up to 15 years.
Enjoy With
Try is with eggplant Parmigiana or peppered eye fillet with blackberry glaze.
