We aren’t really into rules. We just want to sell Western Australian products. The guy who is in control of all our boring stuff has told us we need to let you know the following.

WHO ARE WE

Our organisation is Empty Bottle Enterprises Pty Ltd trading as UPWA (ABN 64 640 681 714)

LIQUOR REQUIREMENT

UP WA supports the Responsible Service of Alcohol and supports the licencing and supply of liquor requirements in all states and territories of Australia. It is illegal to sell alcohol to persons under the age of 18 years.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Under the Liquor Control Act 1988, it is an offence: to sell or supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years on licensed or regulated premises; or for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase, or attempt to purchase, liquor on licensed or regulated premises.

NEW SOUTH WALES

New South Wales Liquor Act 2007. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years.

VICTORIA

Victoria Liquor Control Reform Act 1998: It is an offence to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (Penalty exceeds $7,000), for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor (Penalty exceeds $600). Under the Liquor Control Act 1988, it is an offence: to sell or supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years on licensed or regulated premises; or for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase, or attempt to purchase, liquor on licensed or regulated premises.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Liquor Licensing Act 1997, Section 113. Liquor must NOT be supplied to persons under 18.

QUEENSLAND

Under the Liquor Act 1992, it is an offence to supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years.
 

PURCHASE, ORDERS AND TRANSACTIONS

UPWA reserves the right to cancel any order, at which time, we will immediately notify this action by e-mail or phone, using the e-mail address or number/s provided. We will refund the monies paid using the original method received.

All orders are subject to stock being available.

All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD)

UPWA accepts that on some rare occasions products can be ‘faulty’. If the product you purchase is faulty we are happy to replace or credit the amount of the purchase; please get in contact with us and let us know.

You may access the Personal Information we hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your Personal Information, please contact us in writing. UPWA will not charge any fee for your access request, but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information. In order to protect your Personal Information we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

MAINTAINING THE QUALITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

It is an important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If you find that the information we have is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable so we can update our records and ensure we can continue to provide quality services to you.
